- About us
Vintage 1930s sterling silver Claddagh brooch. The brooch features two hands holding a marcasite encrusted heart set on a twisted bar brooch.
This Celtic design is a traditional Irish symbol that represents love, loyalty and friendship. The hands represent friendship, the heart love and the crown loyalty. This traditional design originated from a Irish fishing village in Claddagh dating back to the 17th Century.
The brooch is excellent vintage condition, measuring 3cm / 1.1" in length and 1cm / 0.3".
