Vintage Sarah Coventry clip-on earrings c.1960s. These statement earrings are marked with 'Sarah Cov'. The silver-tone metal earrings have texture and detail to indicate the leaves and petals.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Sarah Coventry was a very successful company selling costume jewellery from 1949 until 1984. Started by Lyman K. Stuart in Canada and named after his granddaughter. The jewellery was sold through parties in people's homes and it is now recognised as the oldest direct selling company in the world. The company ceased trading in 1984 however it was purchased by a new company and continues to sell through jewellery parties, catalogues and other means.
