Antique Victorian Turquoise Pearl Double Horseshoe Necklace
- Description
- About us
Turquoise was popular during the Romantic and Aesthetic periods of the Victorian era. They believed the stone brought good fortune and protected the wearer from evil and harm. The Victorians also enjoyed the pop of colour against the richness of gold. Pearls in the Victorian era were associated with a number of symbols such as innocence, purity, humility and harmony.
Our antique Victorian necklace features a double horseshoe with seed pearls and turquoise set in 9ct gold. The pendant was expertly reimagined from an antique brooch by our expert Hatton Garden master Goldsmith in London, England.

FAQ
Quality
Antique and vintage jewellery normally show signs of age. At MAYVEDA we aim to sell items that are in excellent vintage condition. Exceptions are sometimes made if the piece is particularly unique or rare. All items are described in great detail indicating any flaws in the piece. Any items that do not meet the expectation of the customer can be returned within 30 days, with a full money back guarantee.
Accuracy
MAYVEDA seeks to provide accurate dates for each item through knowledge, understanding and research. Unmarked items are very difficult to date and therefore such dates must be regarded as estimates, though we strive to be as accurate as we can. The dates on all marked items should be accurate if carrying hallmarks and makers marks.
Warrenty
At Mayveda we offer a six month warranty which is not due to wear and tear and/or negligence after purchase. Antique and vintage jewellery require special care. Select the piece which is appropriate for your lifestyle. Contact us for advice if you are unsure. Many antique pieces of jewellery are not appropriate for daily wear.
