Ruby is the birthstone for July, it is the colour of love, anger, passion and fury. It was believed those who wore rubies were bestowed with good fortune. throughout history rubies were worn by emperors and kings.
Antique Edwardian ring featuring diamonds and rubies set into an 18ct gold band. The ring has a number of marks indicating the piece was hallmarked in 1903 in Chester.
