Vintage 1930s Moss Agate Silver Ring
Description
Agate is a type of chalcedony, it grows in voids of rock masses such as lava, building up over millions of years. Moss agate is even finer caused by manganese and chloride (shades of mossy green) and when polished the clusters appear suspended within the iridescent jewel. Agate has a naturalistic appearance.
Our 1930s vintage moss agate ring features a large oval stone set into a simple sterling silver mount. The stone is beautiful it has these large green striations alongside milky and muted red-brown clouds.
