Morganite was discovered in 1910 by George Kunz in Madagascar. The piece was named after his friend J.P Morgan thanking him for his funding. J.P Morgan was one of the most important gem collectors in the early 1900s.
Our statement 9.3ct Morganite gemstone ring is set in a beautiful warm 9ct rose gold setting. The oval Morganite is surrounded by marquise shaped pink sapphire petals and two round diamond ascents.
