VINTAGE DESIGNER JEWELERY - SARAH COVENTRY
Charles Stuart founded his costume jewellery company in 1949, named Sarah Coventry after his granddaughter. The company was marketed using house parties and pieces were given away on game shows to get people talking. Word of mouth was the strongest marketing tools for Sarah Conventry and become the most popular jewellery brand of the mid-20th century.
The jewellery was sold as being 'for the women who dares to be different', the jewellery was fun with eye-catching rhinestone beading and enamel.
